No matter hard we try, as we age our bodies seem to store more and more amounts of fat that we have little or no control over. We would all like to see abdominal fat go away, as well as some other fatty areas of the body. Many have gotten away from beef and dairy products because they have been told that they are not good for them and only add to their "battle of the bulge".

Research has now shown that grass fed cattle produce a potent nutrient called Conjugated Linoleic Acid, or CLA, that can be used in many ways to make the body healthy. Soy is filled with phytoestrogens, chemicals that mimic estrogen in the body and disrupt your body's natural endocrinology. It's also very hard to digest because it's high in phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors.

Lastly, stay away from high-glycemic foods like pasta, rice and potatoes. These foods elevate your blood sugar levels very quickly which causes a surge in insulin. Since your body can't use the excess glucose, the insulin helps convert it to fat and stores it away on your thighs for later use.
